Stanley Hotel - July 2nd, 2009

Nightfall at The Stanley July 1st 2009 - Appropriately,... a storm was brewing over the mountains and we had a breathtaking lightening show rolling before the thunder and rain came.

As the lightening struck, we noticed a face in the window of the upper left dormer. We waved hoping they would wave back,... but they just stared out at us.

 I zoomed in hoping to get a better picture, but this was the best I could do. Between this and the storm we were a bit creeped out.

At the beginning of the tour.

In the tunnel under the Hotel - it is built on Electric Rock which they say accounts for the paranormal activity experienced there. Also check out  Tectonic Strain Theory or Stone Tape Theory
